Soft Lift^® is a customized treatment using a combination of Botox^TM and different Juvederm^® dermal fillers. By using these two approaches together, Dr. Lau is able to refresh your look and create a balanced, natural-looking makeover.

Dr. Lau will address your personal concerns by looking at the three distinct areas of your face – the upper, mid and lower sections – and will put together a customized, Soft Lift^® beauty plan just for you.

Dr. Lau will treat the upper section of the face with Botox^TM – a purified protein used to relax the muscles that create frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet around the eyes. The mid and lower sections of the face will be treated with Juvederm^® dermal filler to contour the chin and jawline and to replenish the skin volume so that fullness and youthfulness are restored to the cheeks and lips.

Botox^TM injections are an almost pain-free, in-office procedure requiring basically no down time. The effects are noticeable within 3 to 4 days and can last up to 3 to 4 months before another injection is needed.

Dermal filler injections are also an almost pain-free, in-office procedure requiring basically no down time. The enhanced effect is immediate and, depending on the areas of injection, can last up to a year or more before another injection is needed. There may be some mild swelling, and occasionally bruising, at the injection sites.

Botox^TM injections lessen the appearance of the wrinkles or fine lines that are noticeable when the patient smiles, frowns or raises the brows. Many patients use Botox^TM to decrease the smile lines at the lateral corners of the eyes, the furrows between the brows (which make people look serious), or the horizontal furrows on the foreheads. The results are smoother skin with less fine lines, and a younger and more relaxed look. Botox^TM injections can also improve the shape of a person's face, making the person's face seem thinner.

Juvederm^® dermal fillers provide lost volume to the face, thus enhancing the face with a balanced and youthful appearance.
